TYPE: Lodge is one extended structure constructed entirely of ecologically "driftwood" mahogany.

LOCATION: 25 minute motor canoe ride down the Madre de Dios River from Puerto Maldonado

ROOMS: 25 double occupancy rooms, 16 with private bathrooms and 9 with shared facilities.
All showers have hot water; there is electricity and the bathrooms are modern. There are mosquito nets in the beds and the rooms are screened.

FACILITIES: Spacious dinning room overlooking the lake.

THINGS TO DO & SEE: The Lake view, family of otters, hoatzins and black caimans, monkeys, extensive flooded palm grove harboring hundreds of red-bellied macaws, blue and gold macaws, black caimans.

COMMENTS: This lodge is great for travelers that want to be in nature and with a bit more comfort. Electricity at night; there is no macaw lick here, but you get to see macaws and all kind of animals.
