TYPE: It is an interconnected complex of 4 sections : rooms, dinning area, kitchen, and relaxation area with roofed passageways.

LOCATION: It is a 30 minutes flight from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado airport; then you go by car from the airport to the river port, which takes 12 minutes and then, by boat from Puerto Maldonado to Posadas Amazonas, 2 hours in a large boat.

ROOMS: The Lodge has double rooms with private bathrooms, -no mosquito screens- but nets on the beds, kerosene lamps in the rooms; all rooms are one after the other like barracks, but with enough privacy.

FACILITIES: Reception area: when you come in from the boats, a guide awaits you with a drink, and introduces you the property; there are hammocks and rocking chairs and also books.
The dinning room is big with a bar and a few hammocks; all facilities are open air so you have an unobstructed view of the forest.

COMMENTS: Food is good; a very ecologically sound lodge with nice open spaces.
