TYPE: House over the river.

LOCATION: Built in the vicinity of a mangrove forest and a coral reef, over a shallow marine plain, 5 minutes from Bocas del Toro City by boat

ROOMS: wooden cabins, built on concrete stilts over the water, and accessed by wooden walk ways. The cabins accommodate up to four or six people, each with bathroom and a balcony facing the sea.

FACILITIES: restaurant, bar, handicraft shop, kitchen, restrooms.

ACTIVITIES: snorkeling and diving; daily tours and dive trips on safe fiberglass boats; inland tours to Bocas del Drago, the Bastimentos and Colon island's forests, Hospital Point and The Garden. Offers opportunities in conservation programs (sea turtles, mangroves, coral reefs, forests)

COMMENTS: Bocas' main purpose is the protection of natural environments. Here was created the first National Marine Park of the country. The beauty of the underwater scenery attracts the snorkeller and the avid scuba diver. Bird watching is fascinating, especially in the sanctuary Swan Key. Bocas del Toro's nights are safe and the tourist can leave the hotels to drink or entertain in the bars or restaurants of the islands.
