LOCATION: 102 miles from Santiago or approximately a 2 1/2 hours drive. 2.850 meters above sea level.

ROOMS: Singles, doubles, or family rooms, all with individual heating, smoke detectors, safety box, direct dialing telephone.
Suites - located on the second and sixth floors on the lake side of the hotel.
Family rooms - include a double room with two bunks connected by one private bath. These rooms accommodate a minimum of four people and a maximum of six.
Doubles - located on the third, fourth, and fifth floors have either a valley or lake-side view.
Deluxe doubles on the 6th floor face the lake.
Single rooms - face the valley side of the hotel and are located on the third, fourth and fifth floors.

COMMENTS: Situated in the middle of the Andes, next to the Inca Lagoon, this renowned hotel has all the facilities and amenities needed for professional and amateur skiers alike, for enjoying the practice of skiing in an spectacular landscape. 12 ski lifts and 24 ski runs, existing hotels with capacity for 500 beds.
The excursion begins by taking the route to the northeast of Santiago and drives past fertile fields of the Aconcagua Valley towards Los Andes, a rural city. The tour goes inland into the valley, along the canyon of the Aconcagua River. Then, the most spectacular section of the road, enclosed by impressive mountains, begins when ascending the moraine of an extinct glacier until reaching the Portillo Hotel. Lunch is served at the restaurant of the hotel along a spectacular overview of the Inca Lagoon, surrounded by Andean snow-capped mountains.
