LOCATION: Lighthouse Reef.( 80 km - 50 miles east of Belize City). Though it is the farthest away of Belize's atolls, it's the closest you will get to paradise. It's also the most accessible atoll, thanks to an airstrip. Lighthouse Reef is 18 miles long and less than 1 mile wide and is surrounded by 42 miles of coral reef. The reef system, which includes the Half Moon Caye National Monument, has 2 of the country's 5-star dives: the Blue Hole and the vertiginous walls off Half Moon Caye.

ROOMS:
Suites - have a comfortable living room as well as a typical hotel room with extra-long full beds, bath, full-sized refrigerator, A/C and a beachfront porch.
Villas - with three porches, huge living room, ten-foot ceilings and two attractive bedroom-bath suites.
One of which has a king-size bed as well as sofa (the other bedroom has two full-size extra-long beds with game table and chairs).
Cabanas - Air-conditioned with two Queen-size beds, mahogany desk and hanging closet, twin overhead fans, mini-bar, large bath with shower and a beachfront porch.

FACILITIES: Restaurant and dive shop.

ACTIVITIES: Diving, snorkeling and fishing.

COMMENTS: Once a Spartan dive camp, it has gradually been transformed into one of the most exclusive resorts in Central America. Luckily, "small is beautiful" is the guiding principle of the development. No clutter and noise generators here, you always have the feeling that you are the only person in the island. White coral sand, palm trees, mint-green water is breathtaking.
