Day 2/ Early morning pickup at your hotel, for a two-day/one night whitewater-rafting safari through the lush rainforests and jungles of the Caribbean plains. This segment features a scenic drive through the Braulio Carillo Rainforest, one night at the Pacuare Lodge, and includes transportation from San Jose, white water rafting and meals.

Day 3/ Early morning Canopy Tour, followed by an exciting day of whitewater rafting. Then, travel by bus to the Suerre Hotel in Guapiles, where you will stay the night (dinner not included).

Day 4/ After breakfast, a van will meet you at the Hotel Suere where you will continue to Matina by van, and then by boat to Tortuguero National Park. This segment includes two nights at Mawamba Lodge, meals, and tours accompanied by bi-lingual guides. Not included is the $6.00 per person entrance fee to Tortuguero National Park, bottled drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Day 5/ Explore the jungles and canals of Tortuguero by boat, and on foot through meandering paths.

Day 6/ After your early morning flight from Tortuguero to San Jose, you will commence by van on a fabulous three-day/two night trip that takes you to the summit of the Poas Volcano. Upon arrival in La Fortuna, you visit the Tabacon hot springs, whose waters are heated by the Arenal Volcano. Included are two nights lodging at the Eco-Lodge at Lago Coter, all meals and transportation are included.

Day 7/ Continue enjoying the natural beauty of the Arenal area and cloud forests in which it abounds. Then take a trip down the Bebedero River into the Palo Verde National Park.



Day 8/ After breakfast, explore the exotic wildlife of the rainforest. After, you will travel by van from the Eco-Lodge to Hotel Iguanazul on beautiful Playa Junquillal, Where you will stay in a private ocean front bungalow. This segment also includes breakfast and dinners, and either a 2-hour horseback ride or a 2-hour sea kayaking tour.

Day 9/ Enjoy walking along a deserted virgin beach. Watch and listen as the waves break to shore. The sunsets from the hotel pool and bar area are what travel guides are made of. Relaxation is what Playa Junquillal is all about!!

Day 10/ Yet another day of total relaxation on the beach. Do your own thing!

Day 11/ Early morning transfer and flight to San Jose arriving in time to connect with your international flight home.
