Welcome to Zancudo Beach Club The New Zancudo Beach Club offers our guests beautiful private cabins and fantastic dining on the black sand beach of Playa Zancudo, at the mouth of the Golfo Dulce. Quickly becoming the favorite resort among visitors to Zancudo and the Southern Zone, we have much to offer our guests. Horseback tours through incredible countryside and onto the beach, surfing our beach break or boat trips to Pavones, and nature trails to view an abundance of monkeys, toucans, crocodiles and iguanas! Sportfishing, jungle tours, birdwatching, kayaking, botanical gardens are all a part of the experience to complete your dream vacation! We look forward to seeing you!
Although Playa Zancudo proper extends for five kilometers, the actual beach continues uninterrupted to Pavones and on south to Panama! You can literally walk for hours on the beach without seeing another person. The beaches of Zanduco and Pavones also offer some of the best and most consistent surfing in all of Costa Rica. Other activities, such as horseback riding, kayaking, jungle river tours, rainforest and jungle hikes and sport fishing are all available right in the immediate area.
Across the Golfo Dulce lies the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park, which National Geographic has labeled "the most biodiverse spot on the planet"! The town of Puerto Jiminez, the gateway to Corcovado National Park is an easy one hour boat taxi ride from Zancudo. From San Jose, a 45-minute flight to the port town of Golfito, where our private boat will await your arrival. Zancudo is also accessible by car or bus. Restaurant: The restaurant at Zancudo Beach Club serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our menu offers a wide variety of cuisines with something to please every guest. A full menu is offered every day to include Costa Rican dishes, fresh seafood, chicken, beef and pasta dishes. Our Costa Rican chef uses only the freshest available produce, seafood, poultry and beef. Our outdoor wood-fired brick oven is the source of many taste-tempting delicacies, including breads, roasted chicken, ribs, pork and of course pizza!!! Much of our citrus produce is grown right on our property! Our citrus grove includes limes, lemons, grapefruits, star fruit and mangos. Most of our sauces, salsas, marinades and salad dressings are made in our kitchen. We also bake our own various breads, tortillas, English muffins and deserts! The
Hotel Area: Zancudo Beach Club is directly on the black
sand beach of Playa Zancudo, a short water taxi ride from the
port town of Golfito. The Beach Club consists of 250 meters
(about 800 feet) of beachfront, with acres of jungle directly
across the street where guests can take hikes to see the local
wildlife, which includes several types of monkeys, parrots,
toucans, cayman and even the occasional sloth! 
Accommodations:
Zancudo Beach Club offers private, spacious, newly remodeled
cabinas to accommodate up to four people. Your private porch overlooks
the beach and incredible Zancudo sunsets and is surrounded by tropical
gardens. Your cabina is equipped with a refrigerator, solar hot
water, comfortable queen-sized beds, fully screened windows and
ceiling fans. Laundry service, email accessibility, fax, telephone,
gift shop are all available on the premises. A true first-class
experience! 
Location:
Playa Zancudo is located approximately eight degrees north of
the equator in southwestern Costa Rica, just north of the Panama-Costa
Rica border. Part of the Municipality of Golfito, Zancudo
is a peninsula stretching 5 kilometers from south to north and
is formed by the Golfo Dulce on one side and the Rio Coto Colorado
on the other. The river and its estuaries offer some of
the best example of living mangrove in all of Costa Rica. The
area experiences tropical weather year round, with ample cooling
from daily ocean breezes.
