Thursday or Sunday departures

DAY 1: Guatemala City - Chichicastenango. In the morning, leave for Chichicastenango. Upon arrival, visit the colorful open-air market and the Church of Santo Tomas. The afternoon is at leisure for further shopping or to see the town on your own. Overnight is at the Mayan Inn.

DAY 2: Chichicastenango - Lake Atitlan. In the morning, transfer to Lake Atitlan and join the boat excursion to the picturesque lakeside village of Santiago Atitlan. Free afternoon. Overnight is at the Atitlan hotel.

DAY 3: Lake Atitlan - Antigua - Guatemala City. Today you will depart for Antigua, where you will visit churches, convents, monasteries and other colonial buildings. In the afternoon, return to Guatemala City.
