Pacuare River (one- day tour), Class III- IV We begin in the town of San Martin and finish in Siquirres. The river is considered the most beautiful in Costa Rica and the best in overall rapids. Scenic waterfalls, hiking trails and a wide diversity of flora and fauna characterize this natural wonder of the rafting world.
Overnight Camping on the Pacuare (2 days- 1 night) First day: After running several class III rapids, we stop to enjoy lunch by a charming waterfall where we hike into the bush to explore and view the local flora and fauna. We then continue rafting until we reach our campsite. After the guides have unpacked our gear and set up camp we enjoy a «happy hour» where a variety of snacks and drinks will be offered. Dinner is served at 7.00 p.m. Second day: After breakfast we'll take a short hike to appreciate the natural beauty of the Pacuare River and then return to the Class III- IV rapids. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant at the end of the raft trip. Finally, we return you to your respective hotels in San José.
First day: We run the Reventazón river class II- III rapids. It's the same as the Reventazón one-day tour. At the end of the first day, we go to a local hotel in the town of Turrialba where you can enjoy the ambience and amenities such as the pool and television or simply rest. Second day: We run the Pacuare River Class III- IV rapids. This is the same as the Pacuare one-day run. Finally, we return you to your hotels.
